In the 1970s, a young boy in a rural town in England was fascinated by West Coast American culture, and he engraved those memories into his mental archive. Later, as a photographer, he began to reconstruct his memories and fantasies based on a fleeting visual experience called a “glimpse.”
“The Glimpse” is “another reality” born from fragments of the past and longing. It is a journey of sight and thought set in a fictional 1970s California.
What is style? How much of memory is truth?
Here lies the 40-year journey of questioning through the medium of photography.
