About the book
CHAMPION, which now has worldwide popularity in the world of American vintage wear, was founded in 1919 in New York under the name of Knickerbocker Knitting Mills.
The company began making wool athletic wear in 1923, and in 1928 began working with cotton athletic wear, which is now known as sweatshirts and pants. Since then, CHAMPION has continued to make clothing for many colleges and high schools, and now, 100 years later, it beacame to be known as the "King of Sweatshirts. This book traces the 100 years of CHAMPION's history through the various categories of its products.
