This time, we used pure Japanese horsehide, tanned by a Japanese tannery from raw hides of Japanese horses. It is vegetable tanned and dyed with a “Tea core” finish. It is dyed once with brown through the core, and then black is put on top of it. Therefore, the more you use it, the more the surface of the leather is rubbed, and the more the underlying brown color appears, the more you can enjoy the colorful change over time. This is the best part of leather rubbers.

But there is more to this wallet than that.The natural-colored leather on the outside pocket.The “jewel of leather,” the crocodile, sits here. This is a rare vegetable tanned crocodile leather.
